Why Choose A Professional Boiler Installation?

By choosing a professional boiler installer, you know that you will be getting the very best in installation services, knowing that the person installing your boiler is highly trained and adheres to all safety standards and regulations during the installation, along with all the correct certifications needed to install your boiler to the highest of levels. Having the right boiler for the job is extremely important as it can have a large impact on your gas consumption, which could end up costing you more money in your energy bills. Correctly sizing your boiler will most definitely save you money on your energy bills month to month. Also, the boiler would not be overworked if it were undersized.

Having your boiler expertly installed is paramount in saving you not only money on your bills but also the longevity and performance of the boiler throughout its life, given that most boilers are only expected to run efficiently for 10-15 years, depending on usage and how well its maintained, commercial boilers have been known to run for slightly longer if correctly installed. By sizing everything from the power output to pipe sizing, water treatment, aftercare, and location of the boiler are all key factors that need to be considered when sizing what the boiler will be used for.

Understanding Your Boiler Installation Needs

Firstly, understanding your requirements allows us to direct you to the type of boiler best suited for our customers. Whether it be a combi boiler or the most common boiler used today across the UK, An only or system boiler, which tend to be used in larger homes, requires a larger flow rate due to greater demand for hot water simultaneously across multiple outlets depending on the occupancy of the property of the building, where a combi generally could struggle to provide an adequate flow in the same scenario, this could in some cases this can cause unnecessary strain on the boiler and its components resulting in a shorter life span of the boiler itself.

In outlining the importance of simple details such as the number of bathrooms, ensuites, cloakrooms, utility rooms, cleaning rooms, closets, sizes and the number of radiators along other heating sources, for instance, underfloor heating or even if there are plans to extend the size of the property or building all have a great impact in which type of system will be best suited for the customer and must be taken into consideration before committing to a new installation.

In a commercial aspect, similar requirements vary depending on the demand of the building, so different systems are used. For instance, where a building, for example, might require a maximum of 120kw at maximum occupancy, such as a hotel, a cascade system of boilers would be installed of either two 60kw boilers or three 40kw totalling the required 120k. In using this type of system, the boilers communicate based on the demand at any given time, benefits of using this system are that if one boiler were to fail or stop working, the others will continue to work, allowing the building to have heating and hot water still, whereas if the 120kw was to breakdown or fail, the building may have to close until the issue has been resolved.
